Disneyland Bachelorette Party Tips

Writer's picture: The Disney DownloadThe Disney Download

Of course, being the Disney nerd that I am, I would have my bachelorette party at Disneyland. Believe it or not, I am not much for wild outings. I am in bed by 9:30pm, I don't drink alcohol much, and I can't really dance. Therefore, Disneyland was the PERFECT activity for my bachelorette party. My 5 bridesmaids and I headed to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park for an unforgettable da

Here are 5 tips to a PERFECT Disneyland Bachelorette party.

Have a Scavenger Hunt:

We didn't just go and go on rides. Oh no! We had a magical scavenger hunt put together by my wonderful Maid of Honor. If you decide to go with this idea for your fun day, you can play this game 2 different ways. You can split into teams and see who completes the scavenger hunt first within a certain amount of time. Whoever has the least amount of points at the end has to do an embarrassing task as a group. One that we had considered was that the losing group has to break dance on main street. OR, you can play the way we did and see how many you can complete throughout the day. Of course, not all of the tasks were embarrassing but we had a blast taking photos of our crazy scavenger hunt. (Full Scavenger Hunt List is above)

Get Drinks:

Of course we had to get a few drinks over at the Cove Bar in DCA (before it was Lamplight Lounge). I enjoyed a watermelon margarita. However, you can find great drinks all throughout the park! You can grab original or strawberry margaritas at the stand by Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill or Karl Strauss beer at the other stand. You can grab wine at Alfresco Tasting Terrace and of course, there are other opportunities for drinks around the park. As I said earlier, I'm not a huge drinker but the watermelon margarita from Cove Bar definitely hit the spot!

Utilize PhotoPass:

We took a bunch of photos during our scavenger hunt but we also took advantage of our PhotoPass. We stopped at random photographers throughout the park and of course they could tell we were a bachelorette party because of our matching outfits. I absolutely recommend coordinating outfits. For ours, all of my bridesmaids wore black with classic sparkly Minnie ears and of course, I wore white on white with a blush jacket and bridal Minnie ears. We even had matching bachelorette party temporary tattoos that we purchased off Etsy. They were gold and said "Bride Tribe" for the Bridesmaid's tattoos and mine said "Bride". It was a small detail but a fun way of coordinating. The photographers throughout the park had so much fun with us setting up poses and making it such a magical day.

Take Advantage of Freebies:

Disney offers a few fun freebies that you may not have known about. One we took advantage of was the buttons. I sported a happily ever after button and my bridesmaids did the same. We also took home momentos such as fast pass stubs, park maps, and tons of photos.

Use Your FastPasses:

We got to the parks at opening because we didn't want to miss out on a moment of magic. During the mornings, the park tends to be pretty empty. However, throughout the day it does fill up. We took advantage of our fast passes as soon as it started getting crowded. We got there in the morning and got fast passes to Radiator Springs Racers. Unfortunately, the ride broke down right as we got to the front. UGH. But, for waiting in line, cast members gave us a fast pass that worked for any ride in the park. We decided to use ours on Midway Mania because the wait for that ride is always unnecessarily long. This just goes to show that even if you have a fast pass and your experience doesn't quite go as planned, cast members will still help you have an amazing time. Plus, ain't no one have time for long lines! So use up those fast passes so you have time for other fun activities.
