This time of year at the parks can be full of happy haunts at the parks. There’s lots to enjoy and this week we’re sharing all of it. Here are a few things that are our favorite. To hear the full list, be sure to tune into the episode.
Rides
Our favorite holiday overlay in Disneyland is The Haunted Mansion. The ride gets taken over by the Nightmare Before Christmas crew and it’s so much fun. Not to mention the giant gingerbread house. Our other favorite in DCA is Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark. This layover starts at 5pm each day and is perfect for some thrilling fun.
Decorations
Of course the parks are absolutely decked out. In Disneyland you’ll find a more cute vibe with plenty of pumpkins. In DCA you’ll find a more spooky vibe with lots of purple integrated.
Food
The food menu this year is insane with at least 11 different holiday churros. You can find a full menu on the Disneyland app however we have a few things we just love. Some must try’s are the maple bacon bread pudding, bacon cheddar ale soup, and pumpkin apple cider (all in DCA).
Merch
There are lots of fun items to purchase but our favorites tend to be the home decor items that can be used year over year. There’s a ghost pillow, kitchen towels, even a Halloween countdown. You may also love the mickey pumpkin backpack and candy corn spirit jersey. These are just a couple things we’ve loved so far!
